Research Literacy

Research literacy aims to help people understand the basic concepts of research. It establishes a common language among patients, managers, clinicians and researchers who may collaborate on research projects.

To meet the needs of our partners in research literacy, we have created a platform called Understanding Research.

Understanding Research is intended for patients, managers, clinicians and any other stakeholders interested in research and collaboration with researchers (stakeholders) and available in English and French.

The platform is organised into the following themes: an introduction to science and research; ethics; qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods; dissemination of results; and reading a scientific article.
